September + October book haul!

Hi everyone,

How are you?

Today i am going to be doing my September book haul! In the month of September I acquired 12 books! This is the first book haul I have done where I am either currently reading or read all the books here (even though there is only 4๐Ÿ˜‚) and I’m a little impressed with myself.

I was originally going to put my September and October book hauls separate but I didn’t buy many books in September so I decided I might as well put them in one.

Dragon pearl by Yoon Ha Lee

I bought dragon pearl for our book club. It’s set in space which I was immediately excited about and I can’t wait to read it with the group.

The Thursday murder club by Richard Oseman

I love Richard Osman and when I realised his was publishing a novel I had to buy it, even more so when I found out it was a murder mystery.

The girl who drank the moon by Kelly Barnhill

I had heard such great things about this I just had to buy it but I was a little let down by it in the end. I originally gave it a 4 stars but since changed it to a 3 or a 3.5 because I found myself bored in places and had no desire to pick it up when I put it down.

Get a life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert

There was quite a lot of hype surrounding this book and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about and… I gave this one 4 stars! I really enjoyed it, there were some slow parts and some parts where I was like “just tallkkkk PROPERLY, COMMUNICATE” but I did really enjoy it and there were quite a few laugh out loud moments.

Now my October book haul, can you believe it’s the end of October already? I can’t!

From blood and ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I cannot get over how pretty this cover is๐Ÿ˜. This is one I have been meaning to buy for a while and I was afraid my expectations where to high but when I saw all of the amazing reviews I had no excuse not to buy it. I know very little about it but it’s Jennifer Armentrout so that’s all I need to know!

A witch in time by Constance Sayers

I have been so excited for this book for… forever, at least it feels like forever. I have heard mixed things but I want to read it for myself because it sounds like something I would enjoy.

Unbirthday by Liz Braswell

I absolutely love these books. The twisted tales companion series is so good! They are basically a retelling of our favourite fairytales with a twist and I love them! When I saw there was a new one coming out I had to get it!

11/22/63 by Stephen King

This is the first Stephen king book that I have bought and will also be the first one that I will read! I’m not really into horror but this is not horror, it’s time travel and I’m really excited to read this one!

Kindle books:

How I magically messed up my life in four freaking days by Megan O’Russel

This title is just great๐Ÿ˜‚. I’m all for wizards and humour! I finished this so fast, I have never bought a book and read it straight away๐Ÿ™ˆ.

The girl who could move shit with her mind by Jackson Ford

Yet another book with a brilliant title!๐Ÿ˜‚ I wish there were more titles like this. As you can probably tell from the title this is about a girl with telekinetic abilities… need I say more lol. It sounds like it’s going to be humorous and fun and I can’t wait.

The 12 christmases of you and me by Jennifer Joyce

It’s that time of year again where I start buying kindle books. When I read the synopsis of this one I knew I had to get it because not only is it a Christmassy romance but also a time travel romance too!!! What’s even better is that it is on kindle unlimited!

This time next year by Sophie Cousens

The cover of this one is soo pretty๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜. The synopsis for this one sounds really interesting. Two teenagers who are born on the same day at the same time, meet again at a New Year’s Eve party and their lives start to intertwine. We all know where this is going but will I read it anyway… of course!๐Ÿ˜‚

Every time I read those two titles I smile๐Ÿ˜‚. So that is all the books that I have bought in the months of September and October. What new books did you get this month? Let me know in the comments below and let’s chat.

Thank you so much for reading!
