So today I am coming to you with a veryyy exciting post!🎉 one that I have been excited about for a while and can finally share with you all!!
ITS HAPPENING, THIS IS NOT A DRILL!!… wow! Ok, I need to calm down😂. Soooo a couple months ago me and Noly (@TheArtsyReader1) where discussing orb love of middle Grade books and decided that we wanted to start our own middle grade book club. This idea was discussed for some time but never became a reality until Ellie from (@ReadToRamble) joined us! From their the ideas flowed from us and what we wanted to do and how we were going to do it finally started to come together and that’s how Middle grade Marvels happened (do not ask how long it took for us to come up with that name🙈😂).
Now as you can probably tell from the title this is a monthly book club but there are no set challenges or prompts, you can read whatever you want! Whether it is an old release or a new release it really doesn’t matter, it’s totally up to you! This is basically a way for everyone to get together and discuss/gush over our love of middle grade novels and hype them up because they deserve the love! Am I right? There is however, a group book! We thought it would be nice for us to have something that we are all reading at once that we can talk about, it wouldn’t be a book club without a book of the month would it. But, you don’t have to read it. If for some reason the book we choose isn’t for you or you have already read it then you DO NOT have to read it. As I said before you can read whatever you want and how many you want! Our book club pick for May is… drum role please….

My mind is going a million miles an hour right now, I’m telling myself not to forget everything which is making me forget everything lol… i need to breathe… ok, I think I am good! What shall we discuss next? Let’s go with the social media. There isn’t really much to it. This month is basically us freaking out over our lack of organisation lol. There will be (in the coming months) a poll for you to choose what book you would like to read as the BOTM as well as a goodreads group you can join and a twitter group chat for the BOTM (this may change to discord if the chat gets out of control lol). The group chats for twitter will change for each BOTM so as not to get confusing and we will discuss some kind of schedule/ system so we don’t end up accidentally spoiling someone who hasn’t read as far as the other yet. Alongside this chat we will have a list of recommendations that we have put together of books we have loved and want to recommend to you. So if you are new to middle grade and don’t know what to read, don’t worry we have got your back! A sign up form will also be available this month, I will post it here once we have it ready as well as on twitter.

We know everybody needs some happiness and something to transport them from the world we are in right now.
